boost your website traffic

You can boost the traffic to your site by taking advantage of the sites referred to here.

"9 powerful sites you need to use to attract beautiful traffic, baby!?"

Right now, you're likely thinking, "come on Mike, did you just step out of an Austin Powers movie?"

Nope, I didn't. But I am feeling kind of "groovy" today. (Was that you gagging)?

Sorry, I didn't mean to make you gag, but these are wild and crazy times we're livin' in baby. And we need all the help we can get when it comes to attracting more traffic to our sites, right?

And let's be honest - more traffic is a beautiful thing, ain't it?

You bet it is.

So, let's get this ball rollin', shall we?

Groovy, baby!

9 Powerful Sites You Need To Use To Attract Beautiful Traffic, Baby!

Just like you need more traffic, I need more traffic too.

And so I was thinking, it would be prudent - meaning acting with or showing care and thought for the future -  to put together a blog post to inform and force ourselves to use as many of these 9 powerful sites as we can to attract beautiful traffic.

Yeah, baby!

There’s a lot of information on this subject already available on the Internet. And in this post I’m going to comment on and provide links to some of the best stuff out there.

So, without further ado, here goes.

Neil Patel, over at QUICKSPROUT, put together a list of 7.

It’s a great list.

Some of the sites Neil suggests are very narrowly focused on one or two niches, such as IMDb, Etsy, Buzzfeed, All Recipes. If you’re in one of those niches, you’re in luck. But, even if you’re not, with a good strategy in place you may still be able to find a way to market your blog or website on those sites too.

In any case, enjoy Neil’s article here: 7 Huge Sites for Traffic That Marketers Don’t Take Advantage Of.

Obviously, YouTube presents a massive opportunity if you're looking for a way to drive more traffic to your site.

Just some quick stats on YouTube so you're convinced - although in this day and age you likely don't need any convincing.

Number of YouTube users: 1billion+

Number of video views per day on YouTube: 4million+

I think that should be sufficiently convincing as to why you need to use YouTube to get more traffic to your site.

Now, if you're new to content marketing, then you may not be sure how to go about using YouTube effectively to drive more traffic to your site. Right?

No worries, because I've got a great source for you to check out, written by Hardik Shah over at Shout Me Loud.

He's got a great list of suggestions to help you make the most of YouTube. Check out his article 50 Ways To Drive Huge Traffic from YouTube.

I admit that I was a little intimidated by the thought of using YouTube. But I've already done a few videos and I've found it to be a lot of fun and definitely not as difficult as I thought it would be.

Feel free to check out a couple of my recent videos.

Another great source of traffic, one that I am definitely going to start using much more, is StumbleUpon.

Now I know you might be thinking that StumbleUpon is so yesteryear. That's what I thought too.

If that's how you feel, then you need to read the following post from the site: Searchenginepeople.

StumbleUpon Drives More Traffic Than Reddit: How To Use It Effectively.

Of course, it's vital to remember that quality content is what counts. As that article highlights...

"Remember that it's the quality of your content that is most important. A poorly-written blog post or simply submitting a random page from your website just won't cut it. In order to drive traffic, you should only submit your best, most interesting content that will entertain or educate your audience. Take a hard look at each content piece you're thinking of Stumbling and ask yourself: "Would I share this?" before you hit the submit button."

Great content, great content, and more great content.

That, more than anything else, is what's going to drive traffic to your site. Because great content attracts an audience, and turns them into loyal fans and customers.

So, let's not be idiots!

Read the posts I've highlighted here and start using some of these great sites to drive traffic to yours.
